We are an independent advocate representing the issues and ideas of immigrant women at all levels of government, community, media and the industrial sectors. Our work includes community and media education projects, arts projects, research and publications.

We are here to advocate for the rights of refugee and migrant women from non-English speaking backgrounds.

We value and acknowledge the rich cultural, linguistic, multigenerational diversity of migrant and refugee women. We are an organisation that empowers these women to achieve gender equality in all areas of their lives.

Immigrant Women’s Speakout Association is an independent advocate representing the issues and ideas of immigrant and refugee women at all levels of government, in community services and industrial sectors, and to the media.

Our work to date includes community development, direct services provision, community and media education projects, community arts projects, research and publication activities, and network development.
